Dr. Barna Dey received her Ph.D. in biochemistry at Wayne State University and post-doctoral training in molecular virology at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Prior to Joining CSR, she was a staff scientist in the NIH Vaccine Research Center and in the Laboratory of Viral Diseases. During her tenure at NIH, Dr. Dey focused on HIV research with special emphasis on viral entry inhibitors, structure-based vaccine designs, and adoptive T cell therapy for functional cure of HIV. She has served as an editorial board member of an international journal and as an associate faculty member of Faculty of 1000.
