Julius Jay Cinque received his M.S. and C.A.S. degrees in psychology from Springfield College in Springfield, MA. He then served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Public Health Service, a clinical reviewer in the FDA Bureau of Drugs, the deputy director of the Project Sleep, National Program on Insomnia and Sleep Disorders, and the executive secretary of the PCB2 review committee at the National Institute of Mental Health. When he first came to CSR, he served as the Scientific Review Officer for the Neural Basis of Psychopathology, Addictions and Sleep Disorders review committee. His awards include an Official Commendation, Association of Sleep Disorder Centers and Sleep Research Society, 1985.
