Prior to joining CSR, Dr. Shiv Prasad was a program officer at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. There, Dr. Prasad directed the extramural research program in transplantation immunology. Dr. Prasad received his Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology at the University of Minnesota. He then received an Intramural Research Training Award to conduct postdoctoral studies at NIAID on the mechanisms of MHC Class I-mediated antigen presentation.
