Dr. Martha M. Faraday is the Scientific Review Officer for CSR’s Psychosocial Risk and Disease Prevention (PRDP) Study Section.

Dr. Faraday received her Ph.D. in medical psychology from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, where she also was an assistant professor. Her research focused on individual differences (e.g., age and gender) in the effects of stress with emphasis on the roles of hypothalamo-pituitary-adrenocortical (HPA) axis hormones and estrogen in feeding, body weight regulation, and affective and cognitive responses. She also has expertise as a biostatistician. Dr. Faraday has authored or co-authored 21 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
