Dr. Martha M. Faraday received her Ph.D. in medical psychology from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, where she was also an assistant professor. Her research was focused on individual differences (e.g., age and gender) and their effects of stress with emphasis on the roles of hypothalamo-pituitary-adrenocortical (HPA) axis hormones and estrogen in feeding, body weight regulation, and affective and cognitive responses. She also has expertise as a biostatistician. Dr. Faraday has authored or co-authored 21 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
