Dr. Tamara McNealy serves as the Scientific Review Officer for the Fellowships Panel in CSR’s Infectious Disease and Microbiology IRG.

After receiving her Ph.D. in molecular biology, Dr. McNealy had postdoctoral training in the Department of Medical Microbiology and Hygiene at the University of Ulm and in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Albany Medical College. She then went Clemson University in South Carolina, where she spent ten years leading research efforts on improving detection and control of pathogens in water- and food-associated biofilms. She also led efforts in developing and implementing science writing and communication programs for undergraduate, graduate and faculty programs.
