Dr. Thomas Y. Cho received his Ph.D. degree in medical sciences at Texas A&M University in College Station. His doctoral research was focused on Mycobacterium tuberculosis protein structure biology and antitubercular drug discovery. His postdoctoral research at Yale University School of Medicine was centered on determining the structure of and regulating inflammatory cytokines. Dr. Cho continued his research on cytokine-receptor interactions implicated in inflammatory diseases as a faculty member at Saint Louis University School of Medicine before joining the NIH.
