Dr. Lisa Wigfall received her Ph.D. in public health from the University of South Carolina. Following her graduate work, she joined the University of South Carolina’s Institute for Partnerships to Eliminate Health Disparities as a postdoctoral fellow who worked on improving cervical cancer-related health outcomes for women living with HIV. Prior to joining CSR, she was a research assistant professor in the Department of Health Services Policy and Management at the University of South Carolina, a tenure-track assistant professor in the Division of Health Education at Texas A&M University, and the associate director for the Cancer Prevention Research Training Program at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She has served on the executive board as the treasurer for the American Academy of Health Behavior, and as an editorial board member of the Journal of Cancer Education.
