Dr. Annie-Laurie McRee received her Doctorate of Public Health (Dr P.H.). in maternal and child health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned her M.P.H. in health behavior and health education from the University of Michigan. Dr. McRee came to CSR from the University of Minnesota where she was an associate professor of pediatrics and director for training of the university’s Leadership Education in Adolescent Health program which trains an interdisciplinary cadre of pre-and post-doctoral fellows for leadership in child and adolescent health. Dr. McRee’s research examined adolescent and young adult health and preventive health services, with a primary focus on social and behavioral determinants of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination. Her research has resulted in over 100 peer-reviewed publications. In 2019, she was awarded the McKnight Presidential Fellowship for excellence in scholarship and leadership.
