Dr. Hoa Vo is a licensed clinical psychologist trained at University of Maryland College Park. She completed her internship at the VA hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii and her postdoctoral fellowship in Vietnam through NIH’s Fogarty International program. Prior to CSR, Dr. Vo was an assistant professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center where she taught, provided clinical care, and conducted research in the area of substance use disorders. Dr. Vo’s scientific focus include identifying predictors and pharmacological and psychosocial treatments for substance use disorders. She is also interested in research on health disparities among minority populations.
