Dr. Jennifer Di Noia holds a Ph.D. in social work from Columbia University. Prior to joining NIH, she held a tenured appointment at William Paterson University, and before that, a dual research appointment with a New York City-based health research and development firm and Columbia University. With support from the NIH and other federal agencies, her program of research sought to identify effective approaches to promote healthful dietary and lifestyle practices in underserved populations. Dr. Di Noia has served on numerous NIH study sections and completed a 2-year term as chair of the NIH Risk Prevention and Health Behavior Across the Lifespan panel.
