Dr. Bradley Nuss earned his Ph.D. in physiology from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, and he did postdoctoral training in cardiology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He then joined the faculty as an assistant professor and investigated cardiac excitability and gene therapy in heart failure. Amongst his positions, Dr. Nuss was associate professor and director of the cardiovascular research group at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Before moving to CSR, he investigated mitochondria during ischemic stress at the NIA’s intramural research program.
