Dr. Izabella Zandberg received her Ph.D. in mass communications at the University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to joining CSR, she served as a social scientist at the Food and Drug Administration, Center for Tobacco Products. During her tenure at FDA, Dr. Zandberg designed and implemented multiple research projects in support of tobacco regulation. Before joining the FDA, she conducted applied social research in the areas of health studies and health communication, education, and gender studies for federal agencies such as CDC, NCI, and the Department of State. Dr. Zandberg has expertise in both qualitative and quantitative social science research methods. She has published book chapters and journal articles and presented her work at national and international conferences.
