Dr. Lindsey Page, MPH, ACSM-CEP, received her Ph.D. in patient-oriented research from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where she studied the relationship between cognitive decline, frailty, and physical activity and coordinated exercise trials aimed to improve cognition, fitness, and quality of life in cancer survivors. After completing her Ph.D., Dr. Page joined the Cancer Prevention Fellowship Program at the National Cancer Institute. Through this fellowship, she obtained an MPH from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health with an emphasis in Quantitative Methods and then returned to the National Cancer Institute’s Office of Cancer Survivorship to conduct research. During that time, Dr. Page’s work aimed to understand and quantify risks associated with accelerated aging and long-term cancer survivorship, examine survivors’ knowledge of and adherence to physical activity recommendations, and identify opportunities for the implementation of lifestyle-based physical activity interventions to optimize quality of life in cancer survivorship.
