Dr. Joshua Park holds an MS degree in pharmacology, microbiology, and immunology from the Medical University of South Carolina and a Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular and cellular biology from Johns Hopkins University. Thereafter, he pursued postdoctoral training at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) in neurosciences, endocrinology, and neuroendocrinology and received K/ARRA grants from NIH. Before joining CSR, he worked as an assistant professor of neurosciences, diabetes, and endocrine disorders at the University of Toledo COM with multiple fundings from NIH and others. His research focused on pituitary biology, neurodegenerative disease, and metabolic disorders. He has 3 patents and 26 publications in the fields of endocrine and neuroendocrine diseases, neurosciences, and cellular pharmacology. He also served on IACUC and IBC committees and as a lecturer on medical embryology, endocrinology, and neuroscience. After joining NIH, he has handled review sections for K series, R series, and P01/U19 grant applications as an SRO.
