Dr. Shree Ram Singh received his Ph.D. in genetics from the Banaras Hindu University, India, and was a scientist at Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany. After postdoctoral training at Haifa University, Israel, and at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), he became a staff scientist at NCI. He has performed research in the broader area of cancer biology, stem cell biology, cell signaling, genetics, genomics, cancer metabolism, anti-tumor immunity, tumor microenvironment, and anti-cancer drug discovery. Dr. Singh has edited 9 books and published over 150 research articles in prestigious journals such as Nature, Cell Stem Cell, Developmental Cell, Nature Communications, Oncogene, Cancer Letters, and Cell Reports. Prior to joining CSR, he was a scientific review officer at NCI. He has several years of experience managing the peer review process for a wide range of funding mechanisms in the broader area of cancer research, involving multi-project, single-project, and cooperative agreements; research training grants; clinical trials; and initiatives for basic, clinical, and translational research.
