Dr. Andrea Kelly earned a Ph.D. in neuroscience in the Division of Neural, Informational, and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Southern California. She studied the neurophysiology and neuroanatomy involved in the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, as well as dopaminergic function in drug addiction and aging. She then moved to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) with a National Research Council Research Associateship, delving deeper into dopaminergic neuroanatomy. Prior to joining the Center for Scientific Review (CSR), Dr. Kelly served as a scientific review officer at the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD).
