Dr. Maureen Shuh received her Ph.D. at Brown University in biochemistry, molecular biology, and cell biology, and completed her post-doctoral fellowship in molecular retrovirology at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) at Frederick. After NCI, she was an assistant and associate professor at Loyola University New Orleans and then joined the College of Pharmacy at Xavier University of Louisiana as an Associate Professor. Prior to joining CSR, she was a professor at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. Dr. Shuh’s research was focused on the molecular mechanisms of T cell transformation by the human T cell lymphotrophic virus type I (HTLV-1) in adult T cell leukemia (ATL).
