Dr. Victoria Virador received her Ph.D. in food science from the University of California, Davis. She served as a staff scientist at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), where she conducted research in cell and stem cell biology, pigmentation, and the development of organoids and animal research models. Dr. Virador was actively engaged in peer review and research evaluation, serving as an expert reviewer for the European Commission and as an associate editor for Frontiers in Oncology. Prior to joining the Center for Scientific Review (CSR), Dr. Virador held a faculty position at Montgomery College, where she led undergraduate research initiatives and supported biomedical workforce development. Concurrent with her academic appointment, she served as chair of the Montgomery County Board of License Commissioners, presiding over regulatory hearings and contributing to the implementation of local regulatory policy in a quasi-judicial capacity.
