Dr. Baila Hall received her Ph.D. in neuroscience from Weill Cornell Medicine, where she investigated frontostriatal circuit function in social hierarchy behaviors, resiliency to chronic social stress, and social choice. She obtained postdoctoral training at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she studied the neural circuits of adaptive and maladaptive reward-related learning and decision-making. Her work involved using activity-dependent identification and manipulation of defined neuronal ensembles and in vivo calcium recordings. Prior to joining CSR, Dr. Hall was a scientific review officer at the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH).
