Dr. Byeong-Chel Lee received his Ph.D. in molecular cell biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. He completed postdoctoral training at Massachusetts General Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, both affiliated with Harvard Medical School. He then served as an assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Subsequently, Dr. Lee served as a principal investigator on Department of Defense (DoD)-funded research projects, leading studies that resulted in several publications across a broad range of scientific disciplines, including hematopoietic stem cells, metastasis, cell signaling, and cellular senescence. Prior to joining the CSR, Dr. Lee served as a scientific review officer at the National Cancer Institute (NCI).
