Training and Career Development: Translational Immunology Oncology and Immunotherapy – T07
The special emphasis panel reviews training and career development applications in the general area of immune oncology and immunotherapy, cancer immunobiology and immunology, humoral and cellular immunity, oncolytic virus and cancer vaccine development, adaptive cellular therapies, and other novel immunotherapy approaches.
Review Dates
A roster for the panel will be posted here, at least 30 days prior to the review meeting
Topics
- Antibodies and antibody-drug-conjugates (ADC) to deliver cancer therapy or to activate anti-tumor immune responses, including novel immune checkpoint inhibitors
- Interactions between tumor cells and immune cells
- Predictive biomarkers of a patient or tumor’s clinical response to immunotherapies
- Adoptive cellular therapies (CAR T therapy, TILs, TCRs, Tregs for solid tumor indications)
- Mechanisms of tumor resistance to immunotherapies and/or tumor escape from immune recognition and killing, including modulation of tumor antigen processing and presentation, alteration of tumor susceptibility to innate and adaptive immune responses, tumor-induced immune suppression, and immune effector cell tolerance/exhaustion
Oncolytic viruses and tumor vaccines
