Dr. James Li received his Ph.D. degree in chemistry from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he then started his professional career as a senior medicinal chemist in the pharmaceutical industry working on preclinical drug discovery programs involving pain management, anti-inflammatory, frailty prevention, diabetes, and anti-obesity. He previously managed scientific reviews relating to high throughput assays (NIH-MLPCN) and preclinical therapeutic development (NIH-RAID) applications at CSR. Over the years, he has authored over 31 peer-reviewed publications and was also the inventor of 47 issued U.S. patents.
