Dr. Pablo M. Blazquez Gamez obtained his Ph.D. in vestibular and cerebellar physiology at Washington University (St. Louis) and Seville University (Spain). He received his postdoctoral training in basal ganglia physiology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Subsequently, he joined the research faculty at Washington University, where he combined teaching responsibilities with research on the role of the vestibulocerebellum and brainstem in oculomotor behavior, balance, and spatial navigation. Before joining CSR, he rose to the rank of Associate Professor and served in multiple NIH study sections.
