Dr. Cynthia McOliver obtained her Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center. She holds a Ph.D. in environmental health sciences and a risk sciences and public policy certificate from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She has conducted multidisciplinary research in the areas of aquatic toxicity of agricultural pesticides, melanoma, colorectal cancer, and waterborne diseases from recreational water contact. Prior to joining the Center for Scientific Review, she held various roles at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency including project officer, special assistant, and biologist/human health assessor.
