Dr. Zheng Li received her Ph.D. in organic chemistry at Fudan University in China and had her postdoctoral training in radiochemistry at the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering, NIH. She then took a faculty position at Houston Methodist Hospital, where she built the radiochemistry and PET imaging laboratory focusing on molecular imaging probe development. Before joining CSR, Dr. Li was a research professor and full member of the Department of Radiology at Houston Methodist Research Institute and Weill Cornell Medical College. She also served as director of the imaging core facility at Methodist. Her research involves developing new theranostic agents to visualize specific molecular targets for early disease diagnosis and for targeted image-guided therapy.
