Dr. Rhoda Moise holds a Ph.D. in Prevention Science and Community Health from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She completed a prestigious T32 postdoctoral fellowship at Temple University’s NCI-designated Fox Chase Cancer Center, where she specialized in cancer prevention research. Before joining CSR, Dr. Moise was an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, with a secondary appointment in Public Health Sciences, at the University of Miami. In this role, she led numerous research initiatives aimed at addressing health disparities and enhancing community health outcomes. She also taught a core competency course on social determinants of health across the lifespan. Dr. Moise's scientific expertise spans a variety of chronic and acute diseases, including cardiovascular disease, respiratory conditions, diabetes, HIV, and cancer. Additionally, she has specialized knowledge in health disparities, community health, disease prevention, health services research, implementation science, global health, and the application of wearable sensors in health monitoring.
