Dr. Reitz-Krueger holds a Ph.D. in community psychology from the University of Virginia, where she also completed a two-year fellowship in the Curry School of Education. Her research focused on adolescent health and development, with an emphasis on understanding social risk and protective factors related to intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and reproductive health. Prior to joining CSR, she served as an associate professor at Warren Wilson College, where she directed the undergraduate research program and taught courses in research methods, developmental psychology, and social psychology. Dr. Reitz-Krueger has served as a peer reviewer on numerous scientific journals in the areas of sexual health, adolescent development, and gender-based violence.
