Training and Career Development: Neurobiology of Addiction, Motivated Behavior and Mental Health Disorders – T34
The T34 study section considers career development applications submitted in response to various K award mechanisms, including K99, K01, K02, K22, K23, and K24. NPE reviews K applications that involve understanding the development, neurobiology, and etiology of substance use disorders and mental health disorders. The applications involve mechanistic, preclinical and clinical approaches. Areas of emphasis include: neural circuitry of motivated behavior, negative effects of drugs of abuse, and pathophysiology of psychiatric and neurological disorders.
