Shared Interests and Overlaps
The four training and career development special emphasis panels covering immunology, microbiology, and infectious diseases (T21, T22, T23, and T24) are broad in scope and cover substantially equivalent areas of science, with the final assignment made by the staff at the Center for Scientific Review to cluster similar scientific topics and ensure that each application has the appropriate expertise.
