The F12A study section reviews fellowships related to the function, physiology and pathophysiology of the digestive system, including digestive diseases and inflammatory conditions, mucosal immunology and host-pathogen interactions in the context of digestive disease, the microbiome, GI motility, brain-gut interactions, nutrient adsorption, and the exocrine pancreas and pancreatic disease.
