Fellowships: Immunology and Infectious Diseases – F23
The Infectious Diseases and Immunology, F23, study section reviews fellowship applications broadly focused on all bacteria-related topics including bacteriology, bacterial pathogenesis, and bacterial-host interactions, immune responses to the bacteria and development of anti-bacterial agents or vaccines to treat and prevent bacterial diseases
Review Dates
A roster for the panel will be posted here, at least 30 days prior to the review meeting
Shared Interests and Overlaps:
- The three fellowship study sections covering immunology, microbiology and infectious diseases (F21B, F22 and F23) are broad in scope and cover substantially equivalent areas of science, with the final assignment made by the staff at the Center for Scientific Review to cluster similar scientific topics and ensure that each application has the appropriate expertise.
- Fellowship applications with a biological focus on HIV/AIDS are reviewed in HIV/AIDS Biological (F21A).
