Training and Career Development: Musculoskeletal and Oral Sciences – T13
T13 reviews training and career development grant applications in the general area of musculoskeletal and oral sciences. Training and career development applications can be basic, translationally, or clinically focused in areas related to cellular function, physiology, pathophysiology/disease, regeneration of the musculoskeletal and oral/dental systems, and orthopedics and rehabilitation science.
Review Dates
A roster for the panel will be posted here, at least 30 days prior to the review meeting
Topics
- Development and maintenance of skeletal tissues, including bone formation and remodeling, craniofacial development, and the molecular mechanisms underlying skeletal disease and craniofacial malformation.
- Structural biology of bone and cartilage and their regenerative capacity, including fracture repair, stem cell-based approaches, therapeutic interventions, etc.
- Skeletal muscle biology, physiology, and adaptation, including the molecular and cellular responses to exercise, muscle metabolism, muscle disease, and the effects of physical activity on health.
- Rehabilitation, biomechanics, and functional recovery of musculoskeletal impairments, including physical therapy, assistive technologies, prostheses, etc.
