Dr. Raj Krishnaraju earned his Ph.D. in biology and immunology and worked on the mechanisms of estrogen receptor signaling in human breast cancer development. His postdoctoral studies were focused on cell growth and differentiation of hematopoietic cells. In addition, Dr. Krishnaraju completed a two-year program in biomedical informatics and earned a master’s degree in computer information sciences with an emphasis on bioinformatics. Dr. Krishnaraju was then a Senior Research Fellow in the Intramural Research Program at National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, where he led bioinformatics research.
