Dr. Kathy Partlow received her Ph.D. in molecular cell biology from Washington University, St. Louis. She conducted her graduate and postdoctoral work in laboratories that specialized in imaging (e.g., ultrasound and MRI) and organic chemistry, respectively. Dr. Partlow’s research experience has involved the development and characterization of novel drugs identified from high-throughput screens, as well as applications for improving delivery and therapeutic outcomes using nanoparticle carriers. Before joining CSR, she held an administrative role in academia where she promoted and supported interdisciplinary research, mainly through managing internal seed funding programs and helping large interdisciplinary teams compete for center-scale funding opportunities.
