Review Branch Summary

The Neuropathology B Review Branch reviews applications that focus on neurologic disorders, with an emphasis on neurodegenerative diseases. Applications may be hypothesis generating or mechanistic, asking basic science or translational questions related to the etiology, pathology or early-stage therapeutic discovery in neurodegeneration and neurological disorders. Moreover, applications may examine neuropathology, neuroglial or neuroimmune interactions, or the role of environmental or intrinsic risk factors, in the context of neurologic disorders.  NPB also reviews fellowship, career development, and small business applications relevant to the review branch.
