Maximizing Investigators’ Research Award – ZRG1 MCST-Q (55)
The special emphasis panel (SEP) reviews NIGMS-sponsored MIRA (R35) grant applications in the broad areas of bioengineering, chemical engineering, drug and therapeutic development, and computational and mathematical sciences. This panel covers applications focused on the development and optimization of innovative technologies, tools, and materials, from early proof-of-concept through prototype development, refinement of late-stage technologies, and technology dissemination for use by the biomedical research community. MCST Q(55) also reviews applications advancing drug and therapeutic strategies, as well as computational and mathematical sciences.
