Dr. Sudha Veeraraghavan joined CSR after serving as an associate professor and graduate program director at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She also served as an assistant professor at the University of Texas Medical Center, Houston. After she received her Ph.D. in biophysics, biochemistry, and protein folding from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, she received post-doctoral training in structural biology at Tufts University School of Medicine and the Scripps Research Institute. As an independent faculty, her laboratory’s research investigations on the structure-function of biological macromolecules were aimed at better understanding biochemical processes or pathways associated with cardiovascular diseases and cancers.
