Dr. Eileen Moore received a M.S. in psychology and a Ph.D. in behavioral neuroscience from Binghamton University, State University of New York. During this time, she also obtained training in addiction neuroscience at Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis. She next completed postdoctoral training in clinical neuroscience and behavioral teratology at San Diego State University. She remained at San Diego State University as an NIH funded research assistant professor, conducting translational research focusing on the impact of prenatal alcohol and other drug exposure on the brain and behavior across the lifespan. During that time, she also mentored students and taught undergraduate and graduate level courses in neuroscience, cognitive psychology, statistics, and substance use.
