Dr. Tina Tang received her Ph.D. in neuroscience from the NIH Graduate Partnerships Program jointly hosted by the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom and the NIH Intramural Program. She conducted her graduate research at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke studying the molecular mechanisms that regulate glutamate receptor trafficking and synaptic plasticity. Subsequently, she pursued postdoctoral research at the National Institute of Mental Health, where she focused on developing dopaminergic neurons from human-derived induced pluripotent stem cells to study the pathogenesis of schizophrenia. Afterwards, she joined GlaxoSmithKline as the scientific communications liaison managing the internal and external communications for the R&D Neuroscience Therapeutic Unit. Dr. Tang then joined CSR as a Scientific Program Analyst in the Office of the Director before becoming a Scientific Review Officer.
