This Special Emphasis Panel reviews cancer related applications dealing with radiation therapy, radiation biology, and nanoparticle-based therapeutics and drug delivery. This includes applications focused on therapeutic interactions of ionizing radiation, radionuclides, electromagnetic radiation, heat, and modifiers of radiation response at the molecular, cellular, organ and patient levels. Variables could include dose, dose rate, type of radiation, and quality of radiation.
