The Integrative Approaches in Neurodegeneration Study Section reviews applications that investigate the etiology and pathogenesis of neurodegenerative disorders. Applications include intercellular communication studies on synaptic, neurocircuit, or network level and typically utilize behavioral endpoints in animal models. Studies can implement in vitro, ex-vivo, and/or in vivo experimental approaches but typically do not include human subjects.
