Epidemiology and Population Health – EPH
Review Branch Summary
EPH evaluates a broad spectrum of research focused on the distribution, determinants, and outcomes of health and disease in human populations. A wide range of epidemiological research, from studies of the etiology of diseases to the evaluation of clinical and public health interventions are considered. The branch reviews cross-cutting research that investigates the complex interplay of genetic, environmental, social, and behavioral determinants of health and disease across the lifespan. EPH also manages fellowship review panels supporting research training in epidemiology and epidemiologic study design and methodology, healthcare delivery and decision-making, health informatics and behavioral and social determinants of health and disease.
