This special emphasis panel reviews individual training and career development applications in the general area of basic cancer research, including chemical and environmental induced carcinogenesis, cancer genetics and epigenetics, oncogenic transformation, oncogenic mechanisms, gene regulation, tumor cell biology and tumor metabolism.
