Dr. Mark Rubert received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Florida State University and completed his internship and postdoctoral work at the University of Washington. He then went to the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he conducted social and behavioral research focused on caregivers of persons with cancer and persons with dementia. He also directed the medical school's undergraduate course in geriatrics and gerontology for many years.
