Dr. Debbi Quesenberry received her Ph.D. in educational research methodology and statistics from the University of Memphis and is a Registered Dietitian. Prior to joining CSR, Dr. Quesenberry was Professor and Chair of Community and Behavioral Health in the College of Public Health at East Tennessee State University. Her work there was informed by prior experiences in clinical dietetics, project management for federally funded health promotion research, and school district administration. Her research and evaluation work focused on school and community-based health promotion program planning and implementation, including a federally funded clinical trial of an intervention targeting obesity disparity in rural Appalachian adolescents. Additionally, she acted as an evaluator for local, regional, and national initiatives centered on women’s health. She has also served on several NIH study sections and oversaw the Doctor of Public Health Program at East Tennessee State University for over a decade.
