The Social and Community Influences across the Lifecourse (SCIL) Review Branch is led by Dr. Elia Ortenberg. Proposed studies cover a wide range of topics: Social development, group or community-level risk and protective factors, ethics, and community or population-level determinants of health. They also employ a wide range of study designs ranging from intervention studies in clinical trials, mixed methods approaches, longitudinal studies, and non-interventional study designs.
