Dr. Ng received his Ph.D. and post-doctoral training in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and the University of Kansas. Prior to joining the Center for Scientific Review as the Scientific Review Officer of MCDC (formerly CBSS) study section in 2009, Dr. Ng was an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and the National University of Singapore, where he spearheaded drug delivery research, pharmaceutical analysis, and discovery and elucidation of mechanism of anti-cancer agents derived from natural products. Throughout his academic career, Dr. Ng had mentored over 30 post-doctoral fellows, Ph.D., and undergraduate honor students; wrote, received, and completed multiple R01 and R21 grant awards as PI that resulted in the publication of over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts, reviews, book chapters, abstracts, and meeting proceedings.
