Review Branch Summary

Reviews studies that propose social and behavioral applications and intervention studies focused on the uptake or adoption of health behaviors to prevent exposure, reduce health risks and harm, and promote and maintain recovery from a disease or condition. Applications include a wide range of bio-behavioral, psychological, cultural/social, and clinical interventions and approaches designed to change behavior and group dynamics at the individual, small group, or community-level.  Applications can also involve the development, validation, and evaluation of implementation and dissemination methods to better integrate evidence-based practices and programs into public health, clinical, and community or healthcare settings.
