Dr. Armaz Aschrafi came to CSR from the National Institute of Mental Health, Section on Molecular Neurobiology, where he worked as a staff scientist , additionally he was an assistant professor in molecular neurobiology at the Radboud University, Nijmegen, The Netherlands. His area of scientific expertise is the field of molecular neurobiology of synaptic development and plasticity. Dr. Aschrafi is known for his contributions in the field of neuronal non-coding RNAs and synaptic RNA trafficking and protein synthesis.
