Review Branch Summary

The Molecular and Cellular Sciences and Technologies Review Branch is led by Dr. Mark Caprara. MCST reviews crosscutting molecular science applications that focus either on the application of emerging technologies to molecular questions or on training in molecular sciences. The scientific areas are broad and include: bioengineering, biochemistry, biophysics, cancer biology, cell biology, chemistry, molecular biology, and genetics. MCST reviews most of the fellowship applications and small business grant applications that have a scientific/technological focus appropriate for one of the current molecular science Review Branches. Research grant applications focused on enabling bioanalytical and imaging technologies, as well as a significant portion of other crosscutting applications (P01, P41, S10, etc.) are also reviewed in MCST.
